This bison was hesitant to stay put and preferred to walk away while Angela studied him in the early morning. He was painted in Red Bluff, California. Some of the ranches in the area raise bison which made it easy to for Angela to study and paint them.

The Edmonds ranch was invaded by groups of wild hog each night. This sow and her piglets where often seen eating with the horses.

Angela visited Katmai National Park many times. She spent years of her childhood in King Salmon, Alaska, not far from Katmai. This painting captures one bear approaching on another bears fishing spot. There was a lot of noise and dance, but no fight.

The lioness brings home the bacon for the pride. This lioness wears her battle scars from her many hunts but remains determined and strong. A wild lion has a tough life and Angela has captured it in this painting, thus the name "Working Girl".
